Visit Cheshire and the operator support the fireside/cosy positioning. A 2023 Northwich Guardian report records a JW Lees service award and landlord/customer claims about service and community, but those are dated and anecdotal. Financial success is unverified, no current landlord or accessibility statement was confirmed, and garden/fire/dog details should be reconfirmed.
The Church Inn is a currently trading, eligible country/village pub in Mobberley, Cheshire East, opposite St Wilfrid's Church and with beer gardens overlooking the church and Cheshire countryside. The Davenport Arms in Marton is an eligible Cheshire East country/village-pub candidate at Congleton Road, SK11 9HF, with current operator trading evidence and a recently updated CAMRA record. Staff warmth, locals' treatment, management quality and current food quality remain unscored pending a visit/interview. Financial success is unverified. A beautiful room is a start. Consistent food, kind staff, careful management and a place for the locals make it worth returning to. We will assess those things rather than assume them.
No invented stars.
The collection is desk-researched. No visit scores or landlord interviews are claimed. Financial health is a separate evidence question; popularity is not proof of profit.
